Don’t miss the eclectic showcase for musical and visual-art trailblazers at Day for Night, the incredible festival happening at the historic Barbara Jordan Post Office! The building will be transformed into a 1.5 million square-foot hybrid indoor-outdoor space for this spectacular show, housing four massive stages with seamless flow between the stages and immersive art installations for festival-goers to enjoy.
This one-of-a-kind festival experience has the hottest musical artists with a wide range of styles, eschewing the idea of musical genres with a mash up of talents sharing the stage. Day for Night's 2017 line-up will include headliners Nine Inch Nails, Thom Yorke, Solange, Justice, St Vincent, Tyler, The Creator, and James Blake, as well as 18 art installations and performances by internationally renowned visual artists such as Ryoji Ikeda and Matthew Schreiber. The weekend’s concerts and visual art will be complimented by a Friday Summit on the intersection of art, technology, and activism with Chelsea Manning, Laurie Anderson, Nadya Tolokonnikova, and Lauren McCarthy speaking as special guests. With so much talent and activities offered in this exciting weekend festival, it’s definitely worth seeing!
